Sonja Wallner, Chief Financial Officer of A1 Austria since 2015 and CFO of A1 Group since 2023, has decided not to extend her Management Board mandates beyond May 2027 to embark a new chapter.
Jiří Dvorjančanský, CEO A1 Austria, and Alejandro Plater, CEO A1 Group, jointly state: "We would like to thank Sonja, who has played a key role in shaping our company throughout her career. Sonja Wallner will hold her position until the end of her current contract period in May 2027.
Wallner joined Telekom Austria in 2000. After holding several project and management positions, she took over as Head of Corporate Controlling and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of A1 Telekom Austria AG in 2015. In 2023, in addition to her role as CFO of A1 Austria, she became CFO of A1 Group.
