The Supervisory Board of ÖBAG has appointed Thomas Arnoldner, Deputy CEO of Telekom Austria AG, as CEO of ÖBAG, effective 1 February 2027.
ÖBAG is the investment holding company of the Republic of Austria and, alongside other major government holdings in the energy, infrastructure and logistics sectors, holds the Republic of Austria’s stake in Telekom Austria. Arnoldner has been a member of the Management Board of Telekom Austria AG since September 2018 and has served as Deputy CEO since September 2023.
Arnoldner will continue to perform his duties at Telekom Austria unchanged until further notice. The Supervisory Board of Telekom Austria AG will decide in due course on the next steps associated with his departure and on the future composition of the Management Board.
